Tentative Itinerary for SF 2015 (All events subject to change due to weather, circumstance, or whim)
Thurs 28 May
5:00-6:00: Early event packet pick-up in the Lobby. Dinner on Thursday is on your own, but make sure you join the early-arrivals in the lobby after you eat. Lots of good conversation, maybe an adult beverage or two and lots of catching up.
Fri 29 May
10:00am: Rehearsal drive. If you’d like to get an early look at the Saturday drive, meet in the lobby at 9:45. This is a casual drive at a non-spirited rate. Bring your FRS radio and be sure it’s tuned to channel 4.
3:00 to 6:00: Packet Pickup - Hospitality Suite
Interesting and Fun things to do on Friday: Check out a theatre festival or one of many museums and local attractions in the Adirondacks. There are way too many to list here, so here's a LINK to all of the sights.
6:00-8:30pm: The reception on Friday night: A chance to get together with old friends, catch up on past events, and discover new friends. There will be a cash bar for those wanting an adult beverage as well as soft drinks and other imbibables. Munchies, lot's of conversations, and friendly people.
Friday dinner is on your own. Here are some suggestions.
Sat 30 May
Breakfast in the meeting room. (Breakfast is included in the room rate)
8:30am: Drivers meeting: Hospitality suite. Please remember to bring your FRS/GMRS radios. The official Spring Fling FRS Radio channel is CHANNEL 4.
9:00-12:00: The Saturday Drive: We’ll leave the hotel and explore some great upstate NY roads and scenery. There will be both spirited and not so spirited groups. We’ll try to accommodate everyone’s driving style. And if all that great scenery and curvy driving isn’t enough, at the end of the drive, you can have lunch, OR you can take the afternoon to yourself and visit one the local attractions or just chill.
6:30-9:00: The Banquet at the hotel. Once again there will be a cash bar for the social hour before dinner. Adult beverages, general merry-making, and rehashing the events of the day will follow dinner.
Sun 31 May
Breakfast (included) and then lot’s of good-byes and the drive home or hang out and tour the area. If you're leaving today, we hope you had a good time and we look forward to seeing you at Spring Fling 2016.

You may also want to post this info in NY Metro. The Metro crew usually does an annual outing to Lake George around that time. Some of them may just sign up for this.
Good luck with the event. Headchef knows a ton of roads in that area and should be able to help you if you need it. If possible do the loop around Lake Sacandaga.

Pretty sure Dave & Riggit tony (Steve) will be attending. I'm unlikely as that weekend is likely when autocross season starts.
Dragon is a great time too. I've done it once before on my own. Would love to go back someday with a group. Check NY Metro, they usually have a posse that heads down there.

Jake,
I'd do the dragon. It's on my bucket list. Been by it so many times, but never in the S2k so had to just Interstate by the area.
The Fling I gather is a nice gathering for primarily (but not solely) the older group. Someday I'll be there, but in denial...
