Default Stored S

Had the car stored since November. I've never started it since its in another state now. But it is in a garage. Besides from the immediate oil change and wash is there something else I should be worried about?

It should be fine. IMHO, not starting it is a good thing. I would have changed the oil before I put it away to get rid of the acids and contaminants, but I wouldn't worry too much. I have heard it's a good idea to pull the fuse for the fuel pump and crank it a few times to distribute the oil before starting it. (I've never done this on any cars I've stored over the last 25 years and haven't had any problems.)

Last time it was stored (about a year ) I returned to find my S has been turned into a nice cozy home for three little field mice. I've checked out my engine bay many many times and found no damage. I'm actually sorry I had to chase them out. They were really cute...hahaha

Mice are the biggest problem when storing a car. I go on a crusade to plug holes in the garage every fall. I also make sure there are no food sources. In addition, I have two boxes of Decon and 2 ultra-sonic pest repellers in the garage. (I know, the pest repellers are probably a joke, but I'll do anything to keep 'em out.) I also put mothballs in the trunk, interior and airbox. No signs of mice this year.

Peanut butter and traps, that is what I use. It seems I get a lot of them as the temps just start to turn cold, if I ge them then I go all winter with empty traps.

I just drop a bunch of moth balls all over the place. Sometimes when I go into my storage unit, open the door, and BAM, the smell hits me in the face.
