(My Dad has a Dakota ExtendedCab 4x4 with the 318 V8 and a 5-speed! Fun truck!!!
Sounds just like ours actually, ext cab, 4x4, 5 spd, 5.2 V8, limited slip, sport package, and black of course (you know, "evil" ). I'd say overall it is a pretty good truck but we have had a few issues with it. Oh well, it's a 97 so it's the first year for the current model. I guess we should have expected a few issues. She just turned over 100,000 miles last month and the engine is running great. It does seem to prefer 92 octane though. Not sure why but it runs much better with it.

Dad really does have the same truck, well minus the limited slip. His is a '97 Dark Green and has 32,000 miles. But keep in mind, we have used his truck, as a truck, it is not a good looking truck, too many trips through the woods with brush scraping along the sides...

My daily driver is a '95 Nissan XE-V6 4x4 KingCab, 5-speed with limited slip. Burgundy with grey interior, 97,000 miles and looking beautiful with a custom paint treatment on the KingCab and a cab-high black fiberglass cap.

LOL! Previously I had an 86.5 Nissan 4x4 kingcab. Weird. That was a great truck, I should have kept it. It had 100,000 miles on it, more rust than steel and was UNSTOPPABLE. It looked like hell but it was dependable and mechanically top notch. I've always liked Nissans. My daily driver is the Maxima in my sig. It's an auto (it was my wife's grandfathers car before) so it's not very fun to drive but it does the "daily duty" thing well enough. It's only got 48,000 miles and it spent 9 years in Florida so it should last us a good while longer.

I took the S out this morning for a nice little drive before the snow hits us. Had to get a little fix or I'd go crazy!! Especially since I'm not sure when the weather will get nicer.
