What is NASA's policy for running S2000's? Can you run without a roll bar?

If so, would anyone be interested in the 2 April dates at WGI? I may have a hard time going in July plus we would get GARAGES in April!

Yes you can drive the stock S2000 with NASA.

Garages may not be available to rent with NASA as they typically have a much busier schedule than SCDA with Time Trials and Club Racing. So they may give first preference to instructors and racers. Your on-track sessions will also be shorter than what you are used to with SCDA.
Nasa runs 20 minute sessions.

EDIT: Not sure if I can do the April date. I will be doing the July SCDA date though as there appears to be interest from quite a few people that attended last year. Greg, Paul, Jeff and I are in for sure. Hoping we get a good turnout in July like the last time.

How many 20 minute sessions? those are VERY short sessions at WGI.

How does the cost compare with SCDA?

Mark, you will like the track days my friend is putting on at Thompson Speedway. It will be almost 3 hours of track time per day, for a cost of about $235. Thompson Speedway is in the NE corner of CT, just below Worcester so its reasonably close for you too.

At Lime Rock they have 4 sessions. At WGI, they could have more sessions or sign off people to go in another session. Minimum will be four AFAIK. They are usually cheaper than SCDA by about $50-$100 depending on the track. Keep in mind though SCDA is a private profit making organization whereas NASA is an association that is the counterpart of the SCCA. So they have more happening at an event. They will run time trials and club racing in addition to HPDE sessions. It will be fun though. They are a good group of people and I am sure you will like running with them. They have quite a few S2K's that race in their ranks.
