Here's to a problem free season
Agreed with you that the comp school will get you the results. I think some of it is also that they get to see you and observe you for 3 days which will make them more comfortable than a 20 minute checkout ride.

I'll be rooting for you - the new NASA NE TT champ and rookie of the year

So that makes three.

Signed up for the Rud Motorsports event at Palmer on April 27th. Intermediate. Hope that wasn't a mistake, but that track is tricky enough that I don't think I want to be pressed too hard.

Never having run with this group before, I'm not exactly sure what to expect.

They are a good group of track enthusiast who promote a safe, fun, track event with tons of track time. If you feel you want to move up or down then its not a problem.

There isn't many cars on track so plenty of clear track time. You will really have have a good experience running with them and lets face it...its cheap track time.

I will be there coaching 2 students and should be busy much of the day, but if I am free I may be able to help out to try and give you some time.

It is a very well run organization and tremendous fun. Funnily enough one of the guys that runs it texted me after you signed up asking if I knew you. I let them know that you are an avid drifter and enjoy setting wagers on fastest laps in between sessions

And then there were four. I signed up too. Picked the Int 2 run group. First time out for the season in a new car. I'll hang back until I get a handle on the BRZ.

I want to go on record here and say that I am working for RUD and my students have paid $350 on top of the registration fee for my coaching.
That's the main difference between instructing and coaching, with instructing I am hired by the CLUB to work with student and with coaching I am hired directly by the student.
So the students will come first and may demand a bunch of my time, which may not leave me with a lot of free - especially to jump in and take laps with anyone other than my student.

I am sure we will have a great day, but for me I will most like NOT have my track car for several reasons.
