Although initially skeptical about needing another device to confuse me, I'm now thinking that it might be a helpful especially at new tracks where I don't really have any opportunity to quickly review the Aim Solo track data.

So - at the 1 minute warning, two camera, two remote mics, Aim Solo, I-phone and Apex Pro to start, then get on my gloves and get ready to race.
sent you an email and text message with the code. Order soon. Don’t wait. I’m told they may phase out that code soon.

Glad it arrived. Hope you ordered the suction cup mount as well as I don’t see you sticking the 3m magnetic mount on the MG

It's a "no-can-do" for me. July 5-6 is a Friday and Saturday, with the 4th on Thursday. My guess is that family plans at Camp 6 will interfere. Among my other problems, I have been scheduled to knock off 8 or 9 High Peaks this year and they are all 3-4 day trips into the deep backwoods.

In that case you should keep end of September free so we can go to TT Nationals.

Interesting article about a new line through the Toe of the Boot at Watkins Glen

https://racers360.com/free-video-lib...e-of-the-boot/

Has anyone tried this since the repave? I still think the old line works for lower HP cars, but will have to try it at some point.

You should always be experimenting. If for nothing else than to figure out "how to make it work" should something force you off your preferred line. I remember being called out at Tremblant for using a different apex at the horseshoe. Most were driving the late apex line but I had found I could early apex and gain more momentum for the following long "straight." I was called out on a track walk not to criticize me but to point out that there are different ways for different cars. I also made the point that if I were in a race that I had covered the inside line on entry taking away some of the higher powered cars advantage.

Completed the Motorsports Safety Foundation Level 1 Certification for DE instructors.

SCDA will have an event at which they will have a school to sign off Level 2 instructors. Hoping to do that this season so I can get MSF certified to instruct.
