I do have a car cover. It is way too big for the car, probably for a Miata. It is water resistant, not waterproof, but it keeps most of the water out. The EZ-up is very flimsy in bad weather. They're all designed like a wing. Lift up and blow away in the slightest breeze. I strap 10 lb dumbbell weights on each leg. I'm thinking of getting one of those bouncy houses that they have a fairs that are stuffed with kids and blow into the next county when the wind comes up. I hoping something free comes along - on the wind.

Registered for SCDA events At Thompson on the 11th of this month as well as for the two days in July.

Also, will be present at the TNiA on June 13th at Lime Rock to promote Time Trials with the car. SCDA has a morning event on that day, so considering taking the whole day off and being at Lime Rock.

Lime Rock: Got in three runs today. Practice, warm up and race.

Practice was abbreviated and on wet track. Ate Juhas spray throughout the session.

Warm up - also very wet. Started to have a misfire after about the second lap. Got worse and about 5th lap I limped in - barely running. I thought it was fuel related (maybe running on one carb) and went through the carbs. I found some issues, but they were not it. We looked at the points. They were pitted, but I thought it might be a failed condenser and no real way to test. I had an entire spare distributor and swapped that in rather than futz around with points and condenser. . Did the trick, set the timing and was off with just 1 minute to spare to the first race.

Started at the back. Still a wet track. I passed quite a few cars, although one bugger in an Alfa came back, as did a highly prepped Bug-Eye. Car ran much better and had power. I may recheck timing tomorrow if I have time as it might be a tad retarded - running hotter than expected.

Cold and damp all day. And I have a head cold so not feeling too well tonight.

Hope the head cold gets better. You'll get your nemesis tomorrow. Shiny side up and have fun

I wonder how many laps you have run at LRP? Inquisitive minds want to know!

First race straight out of driver's school. Enough to warrant a "restorative"!

wow! isnt that frowned upon by the VSCCA. He ran you off or perhaps you took evasive action.

Watched the longer video too and someone stayed and watched half of it with me. I think she was enticed by the noise of cars racing around Lime Rock.

Jack Baruth who now works for Hagerty published the following article about the Pitt Race Time Trials National Tour

https://www.hagerty.com/articles-vid...ny-time-trials

If you scroll down and click through the pics at the bottom of the article you’ll see me doing a Greg. The photographer still doesn’t have the pictures organized and after working with Newlin, I realize how spoiled we were with his quick turnaround.
