So what's a Caterham 7, then? Because I used to see a guy around my hometown (Corning) with a Caterham 7, years ago. I didn't think those were kit cars, though there were plenty of other Lotus 7 replica kit cars available over the years. But I thought Caterhams were turn-key cars.

Caterham got a license to keep making 7s. They just couldn’t cal them Lotus AFAIK
