That is quite the step down from the Civic Si in terms of sporty handling but the Impreza can be fun in its own way and very practical too. I'm guessing she got one with the manual transmission. Be sure to post pics Levi.

The dealer didn't have any sticks so she got the 7 speed auto with paddle shiters. She and her quilting buddies go on lots of trips to NH and VT so she wanted a 4 door people mover the had a softer ride, good on gas and awd.

Sounds like my wifes kind of car. She prefers three peddles on the floor but I suspect she could learn the other system. All 5 of our vehicles are manual. it looks like Toyota is going to take care of the frame on our Tacoma so there isn't going to be something like your wife's new car for us. .

Well I have been having a lot of trouble and am still not sure they will replace the frame. The problem came up because of not being able to travel in time for the last day of inspection. Only a class action suit gave me another chance.

Here is an image of the two Impreza variants together. So picture the hatchback in the color of the sedan and that should be the color of Levi & K's new vehicle
Also the STI short shift kit is an option on these cars. So if someone had one of these cars, they'd be fun to drive in a 'slow car fast' kind of way.
