Enjoy your day off A2.....snow isn't supposed to start here till 'bout noon, should get a foot to foot and a half before it's done.

This is the most pathetic excuse of a snow day I've ever seen.

University sent out the alert that they would be closed at about 7:30 last night. Woke up to 3" of snow at most. When did we become such wimps?

No day off here. Already 4-5" on the ground. Had some drifts in the driveway. Ride home is gonna suck! Probably won't be able to get in my driveway. Prediction is more than 12" by the time I get home.

Feel for the guys working on the power lines today. Saw dozens of out of state power trucks last night in Henrietta. Every motel and restaurant had multiple trucks in the parking lot.

State wide travel ban in Connecticut.

Snowing pretty hard, maybe 5 to 6 inches. I'm heading out to work in a bit. I've declared myself an "essential" employee who needs to work.

State of emergency - "No unnecessary travel" here. Whatever that means. All I know is if I don't show up to work, I don't get paid.

I don't get paid either. I guess I'll spend the day digging out.

I'm at work...been in New England all my life, it's only snow for pete's sake! We're supposed to get 18-20"

Place is pretty much empty but I'm not wasting my vacation days when it's not S driving weather!

I've been at work for a few hours. Maybe a foot of snow, although it has let up. I have an appointment at 3:00. Haven't heard from the client and have to assume he will show up.
