Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been adding to the conversation lately. Back last fall at Watkins Glen, Jeff and part of his loyal pit crew (me) went for a walk around the pits and paddock. Jeff goes, "Why are you limping"? I said I didn't know I was.

It seems like he was right. I seem to have a "hitch in my get-along" and now I have had some real back/hip pain and problems. I had some minor pain for about a couple of months. As my high school football couch used to say, rub some dirt on it and take another lap! I found that doesn't work when you are in your late sixty's. I have been going to physical therapy but things have gotten worse.

I have only been through a half a tank of gas on the S, but I hope to get fixed up soon and get back to putting on the miles.

HA!rry

I hope you feel better soon Harry. Keep at the therapy. It may take time but it will work.

Harry, I hope you feel better soon. Getting older does have it's drawbacks, although not having to go to work helps

I seem to be in limbo, having to wear a vacuum pump attached to my neck 24/7. Had surgery a month ago for a ruptured disc that had been causing me a lot of pain. The surgery was successful, but the wound blew open when I tried lifting/sliding a motorcycle in the garage. Now I'm married to this device for a couple of months, hoping the wound will close and heal. Can't work (happy about that), but am bummed that I can't do much around the house either. This is my 1st summer not working since the mid-70s. The other good thing is that I can drive the S as long as I'm able to plug the pump into an outlet every 6 hours or so, no car charger. That's my story, and sticking to it..
