For a while, they were extinct.

Jeff, I've seen them but I think they only have black and red, not blue.

Ahhh, yes. Forgot you had the whole blue package. I think Rick's is still making them but not sure anymore.

Nice to see all the activity today. Spring must indeed be in the air.

Now who all are coming out for karts and wings weekend of the 28th??

Bugsy 02-19-2015 07:28 AM

Gonna try for karts, but 50/50. Keith may be away.

Been putzing in shop in between my PT job at the John Deere.
Just installed M5230S KR mufflers on the Bullitt,
Been adapting mag wheels and rear disc to the Waterbuffalo,

Need to adjust valves on S2K, (mine and Hogan's),
Need to install trunk popper switch into Bullitt,

Looking for a combination GPS navigator with a built in dashcam. Any recommendations?

It must be cold out - I'm burning money today!

Just bought a new solid state drive for my home PC to run as a new OS drive. Time to retire my previous OS drive - an old 10k rpm Western Digital Raptor drive that was living on borrowed time. That sucker has been running strong for almost ten years!

I have a shrine of hard drives I am simply unable to kill. This one will be added to the shrine.

How is everyone enjoying this blast of Siberian air?

I'm just glad that it will end today and I'm looking forward to 40 degree weather on Sunday.

Criminies! I don't care when you guys get your cars out - so long as it is before the Levi Drive on July 20th. I just wanted to know how to pump up oil pressure before starting MINE. Is Gilly the only one with advice - lame as it is? Do you want me to just consult Disgruntled and hope for the best?

 i could have said just let it sit until the day before you drive it, then turn the car on for 1/2 hour and let it fully warm up to burn off the condensation in the oil. then the next day, have fun.

i typically do not do anything special with my cars after they have sat a while. i just make sure they have plenty of time to lubricate when i start them the first time. I also make sure they run at temperature for at least 15 or 20 minutes before driving them. I then make sure i give it about 1/2 hour of easy driving before i ever get into it.

 dog loves it even though he has something up with his bladder and has blood in his urine. he's still enjoying the cold, which is a good sign.

My dog loves the cold and snow. Makes her even more hyper than usual.

At least someone likes it. I'm a big fan of winter, but even this is getting to be a bit much for me.

I saw these little interesting tidbits on the news this morning:

So far, for the Month of February in Buffalo
  • The temperature has not exceeded 32 degrees
  • The record low has been tied or broken twice
  • This is the coldest February since 1932
  • This is the 4th snowiest February on record

Friday, so Disgruntled and I have something to look forward to - an evening spent watching "Gold Rush".

Disgruntled expects that this week, Parker will get it on with Monica Beets. He sent Parker an e-mail two weeks ago suggesting that if Parker makes a move on Monica, he can get out from under the thumb of her father, Beets.

I told Disgruntled that these episodes were filmed last summer, but he doesn't believe me. He thinks it's still summer in the Klondike due to global warming. Since we've been having an Alaskan winter right now, he reasons that it has to still be summer up there!
