Moving to Destin in April
Obligatory photo of the ol girl. MY 02 w/119k stock besides radio and a k&n air filter
Looking for some nice back roads to drive on (if there are any) maybe some car meets too. Also where is the closest track? I want to get started with time attack or even auto x. Also what are the waves like in the emerald coast? Most of the reports say flat everytime I look.

Never any waves and from what it looks like, if you want any back roads you'd find them in the pensacola area. For car meets there is a cars and coffee in pensacola and in fort walton beach. apparently the pensacola one has a lot more participants.

Waves suck unless there's a storm, and the back roads suck in Florida unless you like straight roads. Gotta go into Alabama North of Pensacola for twisties.

Can't complain about the surf too much, after all, this isn't north shore Oahu. Got to hit the piers for a decent break.
