Yoyo metro, so who's thinking about placing an order for the new iPhone 5? I heard its gonna be bulletproof, fireproof, but not waterproof. Does anyone have the inside scoop? My gf wants me to place an order for the new phone but I wanna wait it out. What are the new features? Size of screen? Etc

I'll definitely be getting one. Unfortunately it seems like the charging and port will be different from the iphone 4 which really blows for me.
Recently bought a nice new alpine head unit with an iphone adapter just so I could play and charge my iphone. So I will need either a new deck and adapter or remove it to install another adapter.
I'm up for an upgrade though so either way I will be getting one asap.

I heard about apple changing the port thingy, I'm sure there will be adapters out that we'll be able to use on both iphone 1-4 and 5. I hope it's not a big disappointment like the 4s, there's a handful of phones out that are superior to the 4s

Its the same exact phone as it was before. with a taller screen and a new aspect ratio. New dock connector more money to be spent. its rumored that it might actually get an NFC chip but no word on LTE and 4g capability. pretty sad upgrades and people are getting hyped over it. I would wait it out and im sure there will be upgrades coming out a few months later like they have always done. give you a little and you pay a lot more.
