Go to college and graduate then if you want, think of joining the military.

college is overrated.

do your thing though man. if school isn't for you, don't be afraid to dive into a trade or the military! good luck!

:iagree: You have to buckle down, if you can, and focus on getting your degree and graduating from college. You will find that most jobs you work in now will pay much less than a job that requires a college degree. Of course good grades are very important.

Perhaps I'm old fashioned, but whatever happened to learning because some subjects are enjoyable? I agree with you that college is often overrated, but that only as much as one allows it to be. If I go out and start my business and become a millionaire, college was overrated for me because it was not absolutely necessary. Not everyone can count on such good luck. For the people that blow through college thinking its overrated and getting straight Cs, it's quite a blow when few employers really want to hire. One must keep options open.

If I had to do it over again I would join the airforce. They get paid better, have better bases and the girls are hotter as well. Dont get me wrong.. The navy was a great experience.. I met some awsome people and been to many countries. They paid for my rent and food so I can live off the base too. If I quit or lose my job tommorow then i will go back to college which will be paid for by the GI Bill.
