random, but check out craigslist under gigs-labor. there are always people who need car work done. you can do some automotive sidework until you find something more permanent.

Willing to do bouncer work? Perfect weekend gig but you will have to deal with a lot of douche bags. You are married so I won't tell you some of the perks. Just make sure you have a black suit and not scared to get your hands dirty every now and again. You don't have to be that big just know how to handle yourself. I did it for years in both Manhattan and Queens for both A-list type events and some not so desirable locations. You will loose a lot of sleep though but also make tons of connections.
