FS selling my ap1
k maybe a long shot, but I will be trying to sell my ap1 to a dealership/used car lot within the next couple weeks, but I figured I would post it here give the forum members an equal shot at it. so just throwing it out there. I AM firm on the price, which is not above blue book value. Serious buyers only.
Details:
2003 Grand Prix White s2000
75,2xx miles(and counting) on the odometer.
Title in hand.
I am the second owner - I Purchased it very slightly used from Madison Honda with 9,xxx miles. (still have the window sticker)
I had the car in Florida for the last 5 years and recently moved back to New Jersey, and I unfortunately have no choice but to sell it for 2 reasons. First, I will soon need a work vehicle (pickup truck/SUV) and the s2000 isn't the most convenient for my line of work. And Second, I forgot how bad the quality of the roads are in New Jersey. They are TERRIBLE, to say the least. So at this point, I would rather let it go than risk damaging it by taking it to work or daily driving it at all. It does need a few things to be perfect, and I plan on being 100% up front about any issues, so that there are no surprises.
the plus':
Recently replaced the soft top, Battery, brake pads, Clutch about a year back, and other small odds and ends.
The paint is all original from the factory and no body work has been done.
swapped the tan interior for all black oem everything.
NEVER BOOSTED AND NEVER RACED/AUTOCROSSED/NEVER SLAMMED OR HELLAFLUSHED/NO ACCIDENTS
the negatives:
-it will need a rear wheel bearing replaced
-needs the Timing Chain Tensioner fix.
-Small golf ball sized dent on the passenger door (see picture below)
-the amuse lip has taken a beating over timeand would need a good repaint/install or just replacement. more like replacement as it's too far gone to repaint again and would be easier to buy another ebay type lip.
-normal wear and tear on the interior but nothing major/no tears through the leather, no slashes, burn holes. just the normal cracking and slack on the side bolsters. like usual, the passenger seat has less wear than the driver side.
edit to be more detailed*
-The wheels are the original finish and have spots where the paint has flaked off. to be returned to perfect, they would need to be refinished/repainted/coated. no curb rash, just some coin size spots where the paint flaked off.
-I would imagine the car would greatly benefit from a professional detail/paint restoration, being all original and 12+ years old now.
-depending on the state, the car will need an inspection sticker. (I could arrange to have this done and probably will if I keep it any longer)
-there is a small burnhole under the drivers seat on the rear side of the cross member hump, nothing major and mostly out of view even with the seat slid all the way back.
-the small radio door clip that clicks in and keeps it closed has now broke off and needs a new clip/catcher thing.
Aftermarket parts:
AEM cold air intake (have oem)
Amuse style front lip
Megan Header
Invidia test pipe/Invidia N1 70mm dual exhaust with the blued titanium tips
15% tint on sides/rear glass
Skunk2 lowering springs
APR carbon GT3 mirrors (have OEM as well)
Front and rear OEM Red Honda emblems.
Work Emotions(something or other) in factory ap2 17" sizes in orignal white painted finish
Kics R40(?) Neo Chrome Lug Nuts
Price is$15,000 $14,000 firm, I took a grand off the top considering the few things it needs. located in North New Jersey.
