Default 12 Days to go.

Thanks to not being in the full health mode- chest pains and shortage of breath- wife decided that now is the time to retire (again), 30 years of pit working seem to be the cause, so it’s 12 working days and counting. Once the hospital appointments are over and diagnosis is complete maybe a bit part time work may be in order to pass the time and get me away from herself, seems an interesting new year is in the offing. Car(s) will clean and shiny though.

Surely it was the seam that seens to be the cause - either way, get well soon and enjoy the throttle back

Avoiding carbohydrates and moderate exercise in the fresh air might make you feel a bit better.

Best of luck sorting the black lung heartache.

Retirement is the best job you will ever have. Hang in there.

"wife decided that now is the time to retire (again), 30 years of pit working seem to be the cause"

I had to read that twice! I take it that's you not her.

I retired 3 years ago due to poor health and haven't been so busy in years, good luck and enjoy, but most of all keep well, you will have the time for gentle exercise and a stress free lifestyle.

Why is it only this forum adds stuff when you cut and paste?

Only 5 days to go now, and after most of Thursday night and Friday in hospital with chest pains it really is the best way forward, consultant reckons it's not my heart(people say I don't have one) so roll my meeting with respiratory clinic folks, the next few days may be attending the job rather than "workin" but that is why I have an assistant.
Told a couple of little porkies so the family let me go to the rugby with them last night, and, I was behaved and quiet, roll on the 17th and get my copd? looked into, I just want to know what the problem is, if something can be done to help that's great but if not, shit happens i'll just have to slow down.
I have a low mileage S2 at the mo, but that low mileage might just change now I have spare time?
