So Gove running as a candidate.

Does anybody else think this is a play to undermine Johnson? Lack of promises going forwards or reneging on a previous deal?

Gove must know that he is seen as an unpopular figure, so why run?

Yet another spineless political fraud, walk in, [email protected]#k shit up and then walk out and skip the consequences. I question whether there is a decent one amongst them.

Wasn't expecting that.

Theresa May must be pleased.

Interesting times ahead.

From what I understand it was Gove backstabbing Boris, but as I alluded to earlier in a post I don't trust Boris and I think he knows he is not to be trusted with this enormous task too. I think Gove would be the right person for the job, he has no inclination to be joining the single market and understands the gravity of immigration to the referendum result.

UKIp for a future government maybe a good prediction, I think a lot will depend on how the tories sort this out, if they do a good job and they have 4 years to get it all back together they could come out of this with 17 million voters in the bag before any general election happens, thing is they have it in their control, they need to realise it and run with it, whether they will or not ... only time will tell.

Exactly - he's not as daft as he pretends.
