Planning mini staycations this year due to uncertainty. We will mostly be drinking Aus and Chilean wine I might add.

Going to return to the land of my youth and cycling days. Yorkshire Dales, York and Whitby.

Might include a nostalgia trip to Dewsbury but under armed guard / escort
i'm pretty sure we could crowdfund a speed cam bounty..

i'm in when you bring your hi vis to Notts

No those Specs ones are too hard to climb.

Perhaps we can invite the French massives over here for a visit?

Sort of post Brexit entente cordial. Might take a booze cruise over there when all the dust settles.

My view, somewhat simplified is that in a Free market ( which we are in ) the market will find a way to adapt to suit the conditions and climate. You're either in an industry that can adapt and survive or you aren't.

The economy isn't going to come to juddering halt just because our inept politicians couldn't sort out the mess.

Did anyone watch that Brexit film the other night

There's always Voltaire.
"tout est pour le mieux dans le meilleur des mondes possibles"
And for the language impaired amongst us:

Voltaire said,
A witty saying proves nothing
But I like this one:
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it
(These expressed in the language of this web site for clarity to the audience ...)

I said I liked it. Not that Voltaire said it. That is a whole different subject. Hall herself referred to the phrase as a 'Voltarian Princlple' not as the great man's words.
Good to see you have mastered the art of the clicky link though, even if quoting quotes is too difficult
At least you are constant in trolling the thread and taking us off topic.

I set to find something interesting on topic and found this in the Guardian,
Anti-Brexit campaigners really do act like a ‘metropolitan elite’, with little or no interest in northern and working-class people.

Which takes me back to my belief that there are still lots of disenfranchised Leave voters all over England that are not going to like it when we don't (leave).
