I want one

$299 early price then $499. Would be great for my cycling, five a side footie and a bit of golf.

Is this like all of these follow you anywhere sports drones - i.e. still not able to actually buy one 'cos they are all in the kick-starter phase ( https://hexoplus.com/ , https://www.airdog.com/ )

Looks good, but these things are still a little bit too bulky. In a few years they will be half the size and truly portable with a decent battery life.

Can't you just get a very long selfie stick?

Very cool! At $299 I would consider getting one, at $499 I think I would wait for V2 or V3, as j8mie, mentioned, it should get smaller and hopefully run for more than 20 minutes (and come with a removable battery).

I wonder if it could keep up at an autox?

It's able to follow at speeds of up to 25mph. There's also no collision detection system so avoid trees or telegraph poles.
