Default Microsofts biggest cock up to date?

Microsoft put out a major update on Tuesday KB4013429 and it's apparently killing PCs by the thousands. Problems like DVD player software even Microsoft's own not working, TV hardware no longer being recognised, a complete failure to install the update causing an endless hang up, followed by it attempting to roll the update back. Only to have it attempt to reinstall it again.
And due to Microsoft's policy of not allowing the end user to disable updates, there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Due to the size of the update many PC's will not be "updated" till Monday, so come the start of business many more PC's will be crippled.

That may be the cause of a few "mishaps!" at work this week, yet it has affected only one computer out of three at my desk, ah well, Monday will reveal all.

One source has said they believe 1% of windows 10 users may be affected so that's 1/2 Million computers. I hope MS get a fix out there very quickly.

Windows 8 (pronounced HATE) didn't affect many people........... no one bought it. At least only Microsoft actually lost out.

New problems emerging, loss of keyboard, Windows media player corrupted, loss of Wi-Fi connection, display corruption, problems with Chrome and Firefox, breaks Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, direct show corruption, VPN does not connect, etc.

Millions of people used Windows 8 or 8.1, including me. It was alright, really but 10 is better.

I never got on with it on a non-touch laptop

10 is a lot better for me and they gave that away so MS clearly thought along similar lines

however this morning my work pc is... still updating
