I bought COMM about 2 mo's ago on a thursday for $.16, sold it for $.32 on the following monday (it went to $.75 later monday...missed $3k right there- duh!)...

bought more at $.21 about 2 weeks ago, then sold today for $.57.

total gains (i usually don't do too well)- started with $1,100 total investment....now have...$5,300.

I would have been smarter to sell earlier today at about $.70 which would have been another $1k+, but.....

I am usually in the HOLE on stocks

Where did you get that tip for the stock? Just wondering. If you don't feel comfortable publishing it in a public forum, can you message me? Was a it a lucky guess that mainly my concern.

i know nothing about options, or margin stuff, etc....

I basically had been about break even (made decent $ in 1999, then lost decent $ in 2000, and now slightly ahead) for the past 3 years combined.

I didn't hop out like i should have in the middle of '00. I only really played with about $10k which i took out and put into the shogun late '00 anyway.
