So I get the sony ericsson t637, neat phone; it can do lots of things: connect to the internet, get on aim, take pictures, has bluetooth, can record sounds, etc etc.....

So I go to set the ringtone, and well lets just say I dont have an affinity for all the musical crap people have going off all the time: I have always had a simple BEEP and then vibrating alert. Wait....there is no beep option....wait....no if i set it on the lowest ring setting it will beep really quiet twice....but....it wont vibrate...yep the vibrate is set to on.....


so then it hits me...with all this technology; my cellphone cant JUST beep....

I believe Nokia's "Meeting" profile has what you are looking for...

Exactly why I like Nokias. They have these little options that are useful.

<RANT> :iagree: I https://www.s2ki.com/stor/forumshtml/emoticons/spam.gifing hate being out to eat or in a theater when someones phone starts playing the theme to Apocalypse Now or some other bullshit at full blast. It's a damn phone, for cryin' out loud! Turn that shit off!!! :chainsaw: :flame:

What's also amazing is they can give us all these bells and whistles for the phone, but the service hasn't gotten any better. It would be nice if I could go one week without dropping calls.
