I used to play trumpet in high school, so I like classical music, especially if it contain trumpet parts by Wynton Marsalis. My favorite is "Wynton Marsalis - Baroque Music for Trumpets" Composers: Vivaldi, Telemann, Pachelbel, and Biber. With the English Chamber Orchestra, directed by Raymond Leppard.

I love classical and usually object to bastardizing it, but the Art of Noise's CD "The Seduction of Claude Debussy" gives me goose bumps. Check it out!

depends on the person... you need to first find out what era of classic music you like... then you'll be able to get in more depth bout choosing your music. find out what periods your composer of the musics you like lived, then from there on, find composers of the same time frame or around it

 Well, this is a nice surprise on the s2ki forum...

I would suggest Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.
This is such a wonderful classic, the music moves all the way through Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter with subtle changes to capture the essence of the individual seasons, really wonderful music, and chances are good, once you have heard it you will be familiar with bits and pieces because it is used in commercials and stuff. If I were going to suggest just one, it would be this one!
