disposable razors ok on flights?

I'm flying to Hawaii on United this week. Just want to know if disposable razors are ok to carry on. I'm talking about those cheapo plastic ones you get at the drugstores, not the kind with the removable, double edged razor blades.

yup, i think so. (safety razors including disposables are okay.)
but rules vary according to diff. airline companies, you might wanna call your airline company's 1- 800 #. :)

i just checked UA's web faq.

http://www.ual.com/press/detail/0,1442,50407,00.html

it reads,

"Permitted items include walking canes, umbrellas (once inspected), nail clippers, safety razors (including disposable razors), syringes, tweezers, knitting needles and eyelash curlers."

so you are all set. :)

I fly quite a lot and I would say that it depends who searches your bags !

I have flown with a razor in my carry on luggage, and I have had them confiscated from me at other times ..... I never carry one in carry on anymore, it is more hassle than it is worth !
