How much was gas when you first started driving?
 

Post the lowest price gas was when you first started driving. Just thought it might be interesting to see how much it's gone up in the past few years.

Me: started in 1996 and the cheapest was $0.89/gallon for 87 octane.

I got my license in 1995 and gas in NJ was definitely under a dollar then and stayed that way for at least the next 2 years or so.

:cry: Makes me sad to think back to that.

I wish I can fill up my tank with only $10 like back in the days. Damn GAS!!!!!!!

Gas was only .79 when I started driving!! I only wish is was that now!!

Same here. Now I can barely fill my tank for under $20.

I have to spend close to $25 for my tank. Thats just to freaking insane. Will things get better or what?

I think it was $0.85/g. I'm spending nearly $30 a week in gas now.

Same here, if not sometimes like this week Ill probably spend around $40. :angry: :banghead:

I paid about .89/gal back in 93 for the good stuff. I learned young that 87 made motors ping :D

Gas was around $7 or $8 a gallon when I started driving, but that was in Ireland.
My dad had a company AMEX card for gas, so at least we didn't have to pay for it.
