Just finished online traffic school for the first time

I just finished traffic school online for the first time, and man was it pointless. It's like driver's ed all over again. Everything they try to teach you is like common sense. I had to pay about 20 bucks for the course and for the final exam, I had to print it out and write the answers by hand. Then, I had to take it to get notarized so I had to pay another $10 just so they could put a stamp on it. :banghead:
What a big waste of time.

I also took it online, but didn't have to do that. I just went through the sections, took the exam, and was receiving the completion certificate in the mail just days later. I thought it was much better than going to the class. Which site did you use?

I took it at traffic101.com. I think they said something about the mail-in exam being a new requirement. What site did you use and when did you take it?

Hmm, the "new requirement" for online traffic schools that I am aware of is simply that everyone must now go to predetermined public test-locations to take the final exams.

Last time I took online traffic school, which wasn't too long ago, I went through trafficschoolonline.com -- basically it consists of reading chapters and answering 10-question quizzes to advance to each chapter.

At the end of the 8 or 9 chapters, you can take and re-take a practice exam as many times as you wish.

Once you're ready, you go to your nearest Kinko's or wherever qualifies as a test-location, and you can take any notes with you if you wish, and you simply get an employee to enter an access code on the traffic school website, and then proceed to spend 2 minutes on one of their computers taking the test.

That's it, certificate is mailed to you, which you then mail into the court after signing.
