Default Mom of Octuplets Lives with Parents

http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Mom-o...Other-Kids.html

A British newspaper and CBS News report that the mother who gave birth to octuplets at Kaiser Permenente Medical Center in Bellflower, Calif., already has six children -- including twins -- who are living with her parents while she recovers.

The Sun reported that the mother is "believed to be Hispanic," but her identity is being kept a secret; the paper did not cite its source.

The CBS report says the mother will take her octuplets home to their brothers, sisters and grandparents "in a neighborhood of two- and three-bedroom homes."

The babies, who were born nine weeks early, are doing well.
The six boys and two girls weighing between 1 pound, 8 ounces, and 3 pounds, 4 ounces were born nine weeks premature by Caesarean section and are were in stable condition. The hospital did not release the name of the mother, her condition or whether she used fertility drugs.

They were actually pretty big and healthy for octuplets. 14 kids total? How the **** was she able to get fertility drugs if she had 6 kids already. Seriously, 6 is more than enough. She's like a dog having a litter.

I was under the impression (but I could be wrong here) that fertility treatment isn't covered by insurance so if she can afford the $50,000 to get pregnant, she can afford to raise 14 kids.

Something tells me fertility drugs were used. Total of 12 children... miracle of life is no longer a miracle.

I think it depends. If it's just clomid than I don't think the cost is too much.

The first 6 could have been natural, but the last 8...had to be fertility drugs. Humans don't naturally release 8 eggs to be fertilized.
