The new bose in ear head phones?
 

I was just wondering if anyone here has picked up the new bose in ear head phones that just came out? I just bought my girl friend, and myself an Ipod and the earphones that come with the ipod are no bueno. Does anyone recommend these, or should I go shure for ear phones? Id appreciate any input. shure, etymotic any of those is better than the Bose

My fiancee has the Shure E2c... I don't really care for them; poor fit and poor low-end response (unless you really shove them in your ear canal, which I don't think is a good idea...).

I've had the same for 6 months and I'm a huge fan. I think they fit great.

i wouldn't get the in-ear bose headphones.
i've heard complaints that it doesn't stay in your ear and offers no sound isolation.
depending on your price range shure, etymotic, westone um1, v-moda would be my recommendations (not necessarily in that order). for the in-ear monitors (IEM) getting a good seal is important to the sound quality you'll be getting.

I've had mine for about 2 years now. I have 2 in fact one for work and the other for working out or travel.

I even tried to use them when I DJ, however I'm not use to the in ear headset. I'm too use to having one headphone on my ear while using my shoulder to hold it up :D .

I also have the Shure E2Cs. They fit right and have great bass if you use the right plugs (they come with NINE sets of different sizes!).

I have not heard good things about the Bose in-ears. They're adequate, but don't hold a candle to good $100 'phones like the Shure E2C or the Creative Aurvana. This is from several reviews.

I know CNET has reviewed the Bose in-ears. They said they were OK but not great. IMO, that fits the description of just about everything they make.

The Etymotic insert phones are easily one of the best sets on the market. Shure makes some quality stuff but they don't really have the research base on their products that Killion's company does.

I love my Shure E2Cs. They are so good that I wouldn't go through the effort of looking for something else. Every other set of headphones / speakers don't sound the same.
