I would love a desi forum. However, I think the point of a community forum means there have to be people with S2000s living there. I can't think of any.
You'd be surprised at the hardcore exotic scene in India. There's actually a few grey market s2000's there.

Check out this forum INDIA CAR SCENE

One LUCKY kid there got a new Murcielago a few weeks ago. There's also a video of Vijay Mallya (Force India Owner) driving his Gallardo in banglore.

I was shocked at the number of exotics tooling around the streets of Mumbai, Banglore, Pune and Hyderabad.

In a Desi thread? That's impossible cuz it's already been haggled to the absolute lowest point.

Desi, Desi, give me your answer true....
I did marry within the brown-ness....however, of all the girls/women I dated (and I must admit it's been A LOT) were not brown.

I focused mainly on Filipinas, Boriqua's, kali's, and with a sprinkle of a few gori's. The problem wasn't that I didn't like Inidian chicks, it was a combination of things:

1. In my days of high school and college, it was en vogue for Indian girls to dates white guys...Indian guys just weren't cool.
2. The Indian girls that did date Indian guys were prudes and teases, until they found a white dude.
3. I created a reputation with the girls I did date which grew my "legend"...basically, "once they go Brown, they always keep cummin' back end 'round"

The last two girls I dated though were Indian. The first was an NYC'er....that was a mistake. The second was my now wife.

Im retrospect, I'm glad I married within my 'ethnicity'. There's so much more cultural understanding on little things that make our relationship incredible. I also got lucky with my sig. other. Both she and I have our mother's side from Zambia, and both our fathers' sides are from Ahmedebhad (sp?). We both were born in Chicago. Talk about cultural relativism in our relationship.

That's what worked for me....I don't suggest someone to marry within their race or their ethnicity because it's right; it's not. What's right is to find your sig other that fits you, regardless of race, age, gender, background, etc. I know too many friends I've grown up with that aren't happy in their relationships because they folded to family pressure to marry one of their own.

Nothing died....Desis are known to party it up on the weekends. No time to post web forums when the Johnny Walker is calling.

So I went to engineering camp this weekend (Indian and an engineer? weird right?) and I met a south Indian there. We start talking and somehow for some odd reason, he goes "well I already have 12 friends in the US."

Right when he said that, I started thinking about Indians being competitive I didn't dare say anything because it would just get bigger and bigger. I was like "Um ok, that's good" and left it at that.
