Default Should I start getting worried?

A couple of weeks ago I was mowing my yard just after dark. It takes me about three hours hauling ass on a 50 inch cut 25hp rider so I don

if someone were - why? I doubt the Police could/would do anything about it anyways - you know that. You have to die 1st, then they investigate.

Sounds like the previous property owner buried containers of toxic chemicals. You need to do a geophysical survey with magnetics to identify and mark all buried metallic objects. (I don't think ground-penetrating radar is necessary.) Then dig up and properly dispose of whatever you found.

Exactly, why? If it was close to the road where someone could just toss crap I'd understand. It would be stupid for me to think people would expect me to blow something up with the mower. If it's just trash why is it hidden in the grass instead of where it can be seen? It's not old enough to work it's way up out of the ground. I just wonder if someone is screwing with me for fun.

Yeah, now that WOULD worry me.

Vad got me thinking about this. There are some local kids that I've had "nice" talks with about not using my driveway to skateboard. Maybe they're paying me back.

hhhm there you go. You can't have "nice talks" with anyone anymore. I still would not worry about it anymore unless it occurs again. I would be a liar if I said I never had a malicious streak in me when I was a teenager (luckily nobody got hurt as a result of my ignorance).
