Default Spider identification

Found this little bastard crawling around the man cave when I got home today. Hope he's not too dangerous. Can anyone identify?

It's a spider.
I'm like 85% sure.

And he's either going that way ----> or <----- that way.

The other thing is probably a pencil but I'm only 78% sure about that.
What do I win?

By way of apology, I did about an hour's worth of research.
Best guess is some kind of a trapdoor spider -- maybe the Cyclocosmia.

That, my friend, is a short-bearded ball-muncher.

Generally harmless so long as you keep them away from soft spherical objects.

I think you should name him, put a saddle on him, and ride him down to the local saloon. What does one name a spider?

Short Bearded Ball Muncher sounds like a slap dash Transvestite.
