In my original post I was talking about the FUJI 5200. I didn't carry thru with the model number on my subsequent posts thinking, wrongly, that people would know which one I was talking about. I also did not know Nikon also had a 5200.

I have played with the a great number of cameras and none of them are what you would call intuitive when it comes to controls. Unless you are very familiar with the feature you want, you won't be able to change on the fly while the parade/game/race/whatever is happening unless you plan ahead.

With that said, the Fuji's seem to have more features that are easily and quicly accessible than the other operating systems. My kids and my camera idiot friend have all tried other makes and have ended up with Fujis as well.

Thanks, I looked at the Fuji 5200 too, and its real close in features and price to the Canon, so I decided to go with something that takes my existing SD cards.
