I'm debt free as well -- just curious about how using a credit card helps you to build credit?
Assuming you make timely payments, it should improve your credit rating. If you never take out any loans or use a credit card, etc., you'd have no credit (as opposed to "good" or "bad" credit).
Hope that made sense - I'm feelng a bit

but its all worth it in the long run
well, one can attend UCLA or UC Berkeley, and be equally well off, but would only end up having to pay $4K a year vs. $22K (or however much it is these days) a year to attend USC...

A few more payments and I'm done with the mortgage. Yay! Happy!

Quite a few of people owe me money, but they can't run or hide.

We have a mortgage, but that's it.

I'm waiting until I can pay cash to get my s2k, or until the Civic dies, which just ain't happenin', no matter how hard I drive it!

We run about $3k a month thru the credit card, and we also get cash back on that.

I bankrupted this year. I was unable to maintain my kitchen & bath remodeling business while waiting for a liver transplant. Transferred the house and RSX-s to my wife, my name doesn't appear on any of our loans. I have to make payments to the court of $128.00 a month for 3 years to pay my debts off at 10% on the dollar.
