so after looking around i kinda want a pair of bride stradia low max's. does anyone know if they rub the doors or can i still access my center console? one of the reasons i wanna ditch my sparcos is cause i can't open the center console and it kinda bugs me.

Sparco Pro 2000s with PCI-racing mounts (fixed passenger, slide driver). Spent forever making millimeter adjustments, but finally got them fitting with zero door rub and good height. (I've got about half an inch clearance helmet to broomstick at 5'8".)

what are you guys using for an extender which bolts directly to the mount on the rail? I have a Recaro Japan rail on a Recaro RSG and it looks a bit of a tight fit to put the extender into the stock receptacle
Here’s what I’m working with:

Your picture didn't load, but I am using a 93-97 Mazda 626 rear receptacle with my PCI fixed mount. This will only work for an AP1 and it must be from that model year range, the 98+ 626 receptacle inlet is too small (Been there, done that).

Weird. See below as an example. Spoke with gotuning and they mentioned it stays on the outside, whereas Ballade recommends just bolting the extender directly to the receptacle mount on the rail

Pretty much all of the rails out there don't have a proper mounting point for the receptacle in my opinion. The PCI/Ballade have it mounted lower and further back of the side harness hole.

Hey guys, skimmed this thread today. Many of your have a collection of great seats and I am interested in this as well. I have a few questions before I jump in as well. I plan to purchase the Recaro Pole Position in jersey red. My question is geared towards seat rails - when searching this forum I have read many posts about buddy club and the need to reinforce/weld them. I would like to avoid this. I do not plan to race the car more than a spirited drive once in a while.
I am looking for a rail that feels solid. Being able to slide back and forth is a huge plus but not a dealbreaker by any means if it leads to getting a better rail. I plan to use it with a stock seatbelt and will purchase the extender.
There are 3 that I have narrowed down to but I am not sure if these fit the bill
-PCI slider $295 - Slider seat Mounts – PCI Racing
-Ballade OEM converted $450 - https://www.balladesports.com/produc...cket-seat-rail
-Mugen siders - roughly $450
I have read about Recaro Japan rails but do those work with OEM seatbelts? Which one should I get based on your experiences? I'm 5'11'' 170 32" waist if that matters. Thanks in advance!
