The red "reverse light" that you're talking about is the rear fog light that is mandatory in Europe. On pre-MY2004s, it was located in the center of the black piece of the rear bumper.

Ah... I see now. I was expecting the rear fog light to be the same style as MY00-MY03's. Cool.

I think the navy blue is lighter?
