The nicer the area, the better it is for the scum of the area. It just means better shopping that Walmart. Where I live, the crooks were taking peoples grills of the patios at night and breaking to cars parked outside that had a garage door opener visible to get in the garage and then the house. A good neighborhood doesn't mean shit if it has public access.

Recently, my condo area was hit with series of car break ins. Thieves made out with after market head units. They targetted older cars with after market stereos. We were told by the police to consider leaving the door unlocked. Thieves will take your car regardless whether your doors are locked or not if that is what they want. They will break your window if what they want is in your car. I guess that is why we carry an issurance.

My old honda accord got broken into twice downtown. I had to replace two windows...

I've heard about leaving doors unlocked, but I can't ever see myself doing that. I think it just makes for a easier target.

Have you guys been hearing about people's houses being broken in to during the day? Its even happened in my neighborhood. I live in crystal valley off of africa rd.
