Got my intake from HardTopGuy, on a whim really.

Got the PHA exhaust. I like it a lot, even if I sound disappointed when I talk about it.

the bottom line when it comes to modding the S2k is quite simple, Mugen is the only choice....i will not get into the lengthy discussion of why, you just have to trust me....and if you don't believe me or if people say i am wrong then do one simple test: drive a highly modded N/A car that doesn't have mugen brand parts and then drive one with them.....and then you won't have a doubt in your mind what you will be purchasing...and if you can't afford all or any of the mugen parts, save up until you can....However, don't start with the mugen exhaust alone...it does nothing without the header...get the header first if you can only do one exhaust mod at this time...or the single best mod if you can't or don't want to do any of the other mugen mods is the ECU....and that comes straight from mugen's mouth!....GOOD LUCK

OH YA and another thing....avoid comptech...there parts make hardly no power....more importantly is where the power is made...go to kingmotorsports.com and look at the dyno for the mugen S2k exhaust system....from 6k to 8k is gobs of power, which is right where it is needed...that greatly improves accelaration...and if you want to feel it first hand come meet with me and I'll take you for a ride in my S2k....compare the dyno to comptech's dyno on their site and, well, there system is pretty much pathetic....why is mugen so much superior to other brands?? cause they build Formula 1 motors and know honda engineering better than anyone else...period

Don't forget the massive weight savings that you get when you go Mugen... to your wallet, I mean.

Don't forget the $27 gold Mugen oil filter that gains you immense horsepower (just trust him on this).

Hey, Rich, did you see the new Mugen Horn button?

http://www.kingmotorsports.com/product.asp?product=327

I'm about to order mine. Do you want me to get you one, too?

Thanks for the insight again guys.... Although Mugen is painfully expensive, I do believe that their products are the best for Hondas. It is kinda like Nismo for Nissans, specifically designed and fanatically tuned for Nissan cars.

The Comptech intake seems like a good mod...safe, clean and a little carbon fiber never hurt. I will probably go with that.

Both Mugen and Comptech exhausts are a good buy but for more money you get a bit more power (with the Mugen obviously). So, the $ is the deciding factor.

Also, does anyone have a shift light for their S? I was thinking about getting a SPA 3-stage shift light but we wanted to ask around first. Let me know what you think.

oshp515 - How is the sound of your exhaust? Hopefully sporty but not too obnoxious. The stock S exhaust could use some more balls. Also, I would like to meet up with you sometime to check out your S. Do you know where Lake Milton is? I will be out there from August 13-15 at a friends lake house if you would like to meet sometime. If that doesn't work I'm sure I could arrange something else. Thanks again...
