...frustrated. Who has a 23 mm wrench in their toolbox? I got the car up on the jackstands to change the diff. fluid and and the socket is too long and won't fit. I went to the auto parts store - no 23 mm wrench. Home Depot has 22, 24, 25,, 27 - no 23 mm wrench. Fail - fluid unchanged. Good news - I did try the fill plug before the drain plug.

Pretty sure you don't wanna come all the way to Cleveland to borrow one. However I'm thinking ours is craftsman, not snap on, or anything like that. Maybe call local Sears. Also pretty sure we have a short socket that's works

Thanks Rick. Cleveland is kind of a haul to borrow a wrench. I ordered one for $8 on ebay. Finding the time and the will to dig into that project again will probably take a while, but at least I'll have all the right tools next time.

I was about to suggest Amazon Prime or ebay. I have one in Marysville, but honestly, easiest to just order the strange tools online and skip the running around hassle.

Ah really good to know. I was planning on changing mine this weekend and don't have a 23mm wrench either. :o
