Been far too long since I've owned an S2k, still love the forums though, and give mad waves to anyone I see driving one. I live in Akron, OH now and own a 2021 CTR. Glad to see you guys organized a group to head on over. Looking forward to seeing some S2k's on Sunday.

 

Since Mocky has the count for Saturday down, who's in for Friday dinner? Here's who I've gathered from this thread so far:

Two pizza options on the table.
1. Deep dish pizza at Giordano's. Good pizza, but there's a wait to cook them
2. More regular style pizza at Mellow Mushroom.

Both pizza places are literally across the street from one another and 2 minutes from the hotel. I'm fine with either. If Acura_mm wants Giordano's (since he mentioned it) I'm good with that. Sound off below. And if anyone else wants to join us for Friday dinner, please let me know by Tuesday so I can at least give the restaurant a heads up.

Friday dinner at Giordano's @ 7 pm. Going to make a reservation for 10 which includes the 7 of us who have already said we are in. If you'd like to join, just let me know so we can expand the reservation.

there are a couple people here that are owners of both S2000 and CTRs so they may be able to better chime in. I know that they have a car corral and I'm assuming some sort of special event stuff. I know they did that for the Acura corral when they sponsored an IMSA event a few years back. I believe the new Type R will be there. Reminds me of '07 when a bunch of pre-production CRs were there at the track unannounced.

Update for Friday's dinner: Giordano's doesn't take reservations, and tables are first come first served. So there my be a wait when we get there.

I don't mind a wait as I've got nowhere else to be, but I wanted to make everyone else aware.

Also if anyone staying at the Hilton (or if anyone will be joining us for drinks at the Hilton) has any specific requests for bourbon, rye, scotch or rum... let me know and I will pack bottles accordingly!

 

I'm always up for anything new and interesting that you bring. I hope the tasting is on Saturday night!
