Any recommendations in the Central OH area?

...hello? Anybody? I haven't been able to find someone that I would be comfortable with, to work on the S2000 in Columbus either.
A few weeks ago I let my 17 yr. old drive it and he missed 4th and put it in 2nd. It wasn't too bad - I think we were doing about 60 and he was back on the clutch in a split second...but I also don't know what happened in the 60K+ miles before I owned it. I know - check the retainers myself. I've watched the video's and I'd rather pay someone familiar with it. Also if one or more are cracked, replacing them looks far more involved than just checking them.
Slowmotion seems to get mixed reviews and I reached out to them several times and never got a response.

Check with Japanese Automotive Service in Hilliard; I haven't done business with them yet (seen good reviews) and did point me to someone who could help with troubleshooting my diff.

I'm not from the area, but I've heard good things about Marysville Honda being pretty familiar with S2000s. I've never used them myself though.

They'll also probably be a bit more expensive than an independent shop, and I don't know if they'd be willing to put AP2 retainers in an AP1, but it may be worth a shot if the other independent shops don't work out.

I had Lindsay Acura work on my S2000 as most of the guys have worked on them and other cars much nicer. Helps that I get a discount :)

Not too sure where you guys are located in Columbus but Honnaman Automotive. I haven't been there myself but I have heard good things from other users. 614-575-5150. Hopefully it works out!

Sooner rather than later... still need to figure out which I want to install though. When would you be able to do it? How much? Where are you located?

I have heard good things about Wayne's Garage from guys at work. I guess he worked at the Honda plant for years and years and started quite the shop that only does Hondas and Acuras. The Marysville dealer wanted 1080 for labor, Wayne wanted closer to 1000. From what I read it can be done in 6-8 hrs by someone who knows what they are doing, so that seems steep.
