I had full intentions of going until my buddies thought it would be a great idea to go full contact drinking Saturday night....needless to say, I don't think I would have even passed sobriety Sunday morning!

It was a near perfect weekend ! Sorry you guys didn't come out. Next opportunity is with the Akron Sports Car Club on May 6. Unfortunately I will not be at that one [edit: I believe OVR has an event in Columbus this weekend also ]

Please look me up if you stop by any of the events and see the Spa S2000 or light blue Lotus Elan. I can generally get people rides if they would like to see what autocrossing is all about.

Where abouts do you live? I see a spa running around the Eastside quite a bit but never get a chance to track them down..

I'm going to try to make it for the May 6th. I used to be really active in the Finger Lakes Region SCCA AutoX with my 240sx. I'm looking forward to the S2000 in that context.

You will really enjoy autocrossing the S2000 ! Our local lots are not exactly S2000 friendly but we still have fun NWOR has an event [ I believe ] on May 20th at the Toledo Express airport. That is an awesome place to run if you get a chance. Some of their courses feature 3rd gear runs and they are a good group of guys. Depending on where you are at, its only a couple of hours over there and well worth it.

The first points event for the Columbus region (OVR) is this Sunday at the OSU lot at 315 and Ackerman, SE corner. Unfortunately, prior family commitments will prevent me from attending.

I wonder if there would be any interest in a S2000 only autoX event ? Maybe a Saturday before an OVR PE.
