Default New guy from Columbus!

Hey everyone, I'm Adam. I live in Dublin and just recently picked up my 05 Silverstone AP2. This is my 2nd S2000. I lived in Springfield, Missouri last year and had my orange one there (sold it there). Now that I'm back in Ohio, I'm looking to make some S2000 friends here. I work in the automotive industry, and am proud to say that I have a very very...very...small hand in the NSX manufacturing process. It's too pointless to describe, but I still love what I do. I'm also a firearm and motorcycle enthusiast if any of you are too. I've had everything from a 10 second 1G DSM, single turbo FD, Civic Si (EM1), a few F-bodies...I could go on. My S2000 is easily the most fun of any car I've ever owned.

Let me know if there are ever any meets in Ohio. If I'm not traveling for work, I'll be there.

There's going to be a "run" over in SE Ohio in September or October. Listed in this section. Starting over at Salt Fork. On my consideration list but from Cleveland it looks like a 400 mile day!

I'm in Columbus a weekend or two every month and have seen one (1) S2000 other than the other car the dealer had on his lot two years ago. I sold some aftermarket wheels to a member here from the Dublin area but haven't seen another one. Likewise here in Cleveland where I think I've seen two or three the past two years. People keep telling us there are cars in Ohio but they all seem pretty shy about driving them.

Hey Adam, Welcome to the board. I also had a small part in the NSX, what was yours?

Chuck, I'm definitely not shy on driving mine. I have a problem where I tend to just get in and go. My even bigger problem is that I purposely slide...every...corner or turn lol. I need to get over that and act more my age when I'm driving it.

Fierc3, hey cool! I am actually involved in the pretreatment process before the car is ever painted. Again, it's extremely minor, but fun to be a part of. Every time I walk into PMC, I'm overwhelmed by how neat it is. What hand did/do you have in it? Pretty much anything is going to be bigger than my contribution. Are you based at PMC, or are you R&D?

Cpt. Spock, nice! I autocrossed with a guy driving a GPW AP2 once down at Circleville. Could that possibly have been you? I had my EM1 at the time.

Any time any of you are bored and want to go for a drive, or even just hang out, let me know. I'm down for whatever.

That's funny. I saw three yesterday in Mayfield (not including mine). Two lagunas and a berlina.

It seems like CBUS has soo many S2K owners. I don't know why there aren't more GTG's down there.
