New Owner: Boardman, OH

Hey Everyone,

Yesterday, I picked up my first S2000. It's a 2004 BB and I got it from a 72 year old gentleman who originally purchased it CPO 11 years ago in West Virginia. It can use a little bit of detailing and a soft top, but i'm really happy with the purchase. Anyone, it would be great to get to know any local (NEO) members and meet up sometime, if it ever stops raining :-/ - Also looking for recommendations on shops/people that can help with maintenance. It runs beautifully, but i'm not sure if a lot of preventative maintenance has been done.

Welcome to our little world. Hope you enjoy your "new" car.

As I mentioned earlier .. the car felt dirty. The previous owner was old and I don’t think ever really scrubbed the interior. He seemed to have used some sort of wipe to shine the interior up. Here’s the result of a little elbow grease.

Welcome aboard! Keep September 9th open on your calendar for the Eibach meet down here in Marysville, Ohio on the Honda Campus!

In terms of maintenance check out the forums as there are some great threads for how-to repairs as well as intervals and common problems to look out for. Cheers!

Welcome and congrats on buying an S2000. There's a list of shops stickied on this forum, which should have some recommendations for places to get maintenance done. Let us know if you have any more specific questions that you can't find any information about in the rest of the sub-forums.

Welcome to the club! Interior looks good cleaned up, looks like you could use a new steering wheel and there are plenty of aftermarket ones for our cars or OEM. :woot:

Thanks and no way! We should definitely get together. I also found out that my 90 year old neighbor's son in law has a red S2000. He lives in the same neighborhood I do.
