105K - I spent the weekend cleaning the interior and exterior yet again. I don't think it's been hand washed often. It looks much better. Another bonus is that I found the maintenance records folded up behind the passenger seat. It looks like synthetic oil changes were done religiously, along with differential fluid. No signs yet of transmission fluid or other fluid changes... I'm still scheduled for a 100k maintenance next week.

I also found two polk speakers behind each of the seats. I'm assuming one of the previous owners installed these? All the information on the forums have been great so far. I also noticed that when you have an S2k - suddenly you find out that your neighbors have them tucked away in their garage waiting for friends to play with

The car still needs a professional detail.. the low lighting makes the paint look better than what it is.

Car is looking good! I have found a local mechanic (used to work at Honda) that has his own shop here in Boardman. He put a new clutch in my S last year and has been taking care of both my Honda's now.
PM me your phone # and we can get together.

I'm going to have the local mechanic guy check my car out on the 5th. It will save a lot of hassle with commuting and leaving my car 60-miles away. I also just ordered the Billman TCT. Progress is being made.. Very tempted to find a good and used K&N or Comptech intake. The car sounds like it needs to breath

K&N FIPK sounds good. Takes laboratory instruments to determine if it actually adds any power but just the intake noise is worth the price to me.

I did the K&N FIPK, it was an easy install but I retrospect not too sure if it added power. If you're looking for just that induction noise take off the top of the air box then.

Removing the airbox lid has been documented (several times) to rob power from the car. A good performance -- and stock appearing -- intake is the LHT modification with the specific S2000 K&N filter inside.

I put the K&N FIPK intake on my car, but that was 4 years before this video came out a couple of months ago. Gotta look in the shed for my OEM airbox and do this when I get some time.
