Howdy, Ohio S2ki crew!

I finally got around to writing a short recap of the Ohio Hondas Spring 2012/Dyno Days for Dogs event held last weekend in North Canton, Ohio. Let me first start off by saying that I'm not a member of Ohio Hondas, but one of their members posted some information about the show on Toledo Tuners and in the past the Ohio Hondas meets have been pretty well run and organized.

This year, the proceeds from donations went to the Stark County Humane Society. SlowMotion Motorsports provided the dyno at the event.

There were some pretty nice cars at the event... but sadly there were only two s2000s; mine and another older gentlemans. I really thought I would see more there but only us two. So that was strange. Anyway, the best part about the show for me was the cruise there and back... we took the scenic route along Lake Erie from Toledo to Cleveland and then down south to North Canton.

There will be another Ohio Hondas meet at the end of the summer... hopefully we can get some more s2000s to represent at the next show! I'll post more in here once I know more about it.

I used to attend nearly every one of these meets each year but have not been in recent years. I'm glad to see they're still putting them on. I'll try to make it to the next one so we have a better representation of S2K's!

Ive had some issues with Ohio Hondas before and some of the members. Im glad the show went well. I hope that group is on their way back up to being respectable.

I hear that. That's why I haven't rejoined after I deleted my account a few years ago. I figured this was a good cause though... there wasn't any presence or advertising for Ohio Hondas at the meet, though, so that was ok.

I'm a member on there (admin) and I can say its really hit or miss. A lot of the older group from years ago (I'm talking like 5+ years ago) are a great group of guys. The "crews" "gangs" and other crap really turned the scene on itself and people hating each other. (which sucks)

Sadly I wasn't able to make the meet up. If you ever have problems on OhioHonda's let me know and I'll be happy to make whatever is wrong right.
