Last fall I did a long drive in the S, combined with some serious golfing. The last leg of the trip was driving Ohio 555 and golfing at Longaberger. It was a great drive and golf course. I intend to do the same thing after the Ohio RT 26 Event. Figured I'd see if anyone else is interested, I'd be happy to organize it.

My suggestion would be to leave the hotel Sunday morning 9-10 am, and plan on playing Longaberger starting around 12:30-1pm. The drive up there takes about 2.5-3 hours. Warning: Longaberger is a great course but a bit pricey ($89 i think).

I think the timing would allow anyone from Columbus to play and then get home for dinner. Anyone from Cleveland would maybe grab a sandwich at the course, and still make it home early Sunday evening.

I appologize to anyone with a +1, as packing for this might not work out too well. Also, sorry to the Cincy group, I know going north to golf probably doesn't work too well.

So, if you are interested, post up, so I can organize tee times.

 

I'm leaving early Sunday to go to Dublin to watch some real golfers.

I may be in for some golf. It is a great course. If you go to lastminutegolfer.com you can get a few bucks off (about 10 I think). I just have to check with my +1 to see if she can find something to do around there....I know there isn't much there, but we will see. I'll let you know.
