Default opinions re performance shops here in central ohio

I have been rather disappointed with the level a service and products available in a city this large. I haven't modified my s much, however with my other cars, i have grown to dislike the local shops. Are there places that i don't know or hear about.

they are the only ones i have dealt with here in town and unfortunately my experience has been less than favorable. They are pricey and offer marginal service, this has lead me to make many purchases online. I have been burned in the past but i now know of a few highly reputable and fair priced retailers on line. For oem honda parts i buy exclusively from manchestermotorsports.com. they offer fast service and have a no questions asked refund policy.

I also concure on the Passen opinion. I too had less than favorable service the two times I had my car (not the S2000) in for minor mods. I would not go back.
Their sales force leaves something to be desired as well. On quite a few occasions where they were "going to check out the price and availability" of parts, they did not get back to me. I had to call them back weeks later. And be prepared to sit on hold for excessive periods of time when you call them. Going in to the store did not seem to help either. I went there knowing they had the item i needed in stock and it still took me almost 20 minutes to get what I needed and get out of there because the associates get so easily distracted with phone calls and other customers coming in to the store.
I don't know of another local shop that does this kind of work, though. I guess that is why they are able to offer this level of service and remain in business.
