Powder coating calipers
Hey guys,
I took advantage of the nice weather this weekend and removed the brakes from all four corners of the S. I'm replacing the OEM lines with SS ones, and replacing the pads + rotors, and hardware.
I had originally planned on just cleaning up the calipers and painting them. But from everything I've heard it's better/more durable to powder coat them.
Does anyone know a good place in C-bus for powder coating? Maybe an estimate on $$ if you've done it before.
Also, I know i need to mask off some things (the brake line hole, the bleeder hole, the piston hole, and the face the pads sits on) after I clean them, before coating. I know I'll need to rebuild them once i get them back.
Can you guys offer anything other pieces of advice?
Thanks for your help.
